The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Ezio, Mona Lisa and Paranormal State

I'm reading a REALLY good book right now called I, Mona Lisa. It's surprisingly accurat when it comes to portraying historical figures, especially Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. It's a bit gruesome but It's a pretty good conspiracy story that connets to the Assassination of Guiliano in the duomo.
I look forward to finishing it Laughing

On a completely different note, I just finished watching Paranormal State (the episode was I Am Six) and it was a pretty creepy episode. Apparently a girl named Laura was possessed by a demon(s) named Six. I kind of half to wonder if she was faking though. They had pictures of her with words carved into her skin (that apparently appeared before the Parent's eyes) that resembled burn marks, and the way the words were written, there was no way Laura could have written them herself. She also claimed to have been pushed down the laundry shoot and they found it was impossible to get down their without being pushed and pulled. Another thing that happened was the the mom ran up to the bathroom after she heard banging and found her daughter drowning and had trouble getting her out. Apparently "Six" raped her while she was in there as well.

Yet, during the exorcism, I had the feeling she was possibly faking, evem though my idea of an exorcism could possibly be formed by the media (we hand kids that got possessed at my camp more than a few times and none of them were really all to dramatic) When they called the demon to show itself a huge-ass storm started outside, but that could have just been edititing skills XD None the less it was pretty creepy and I can't say I believe but I can't say I don't. I believe in possession and spiritual warfare but I can't always say what I saw on TV was true and I can't dismiss it because I wasn't there to physically judge. I just try to keep an open mind about these kinds of things (skeptics always seem to get their ass handed to them in horror movies XD)

On a happier note, I found Ezio very attractive in the new trailer Wink I love the hair!
