Well, I didn't make it in the WeLoveFine MLP t-shirt contest
I'm a bit disappointed at the results, mostly because there were a good handful of t-shirt designs I REALLY liked but none of the them ended up winning, or even getting a runner up
Either way, thanks to you guys who voted for me, I know one of my designs was pretty close.
But in the end I'm okay with it. My brother and I are thinking of opening an online business where I can sell my posters, t-shirts and other things I decide to pick up.

I saw the post on ED and now I understand what you mean
That seems kind of fishy :/
It was so damn boring. So many better ones out there. I think they only picked it because it'd be cheat to print a lot of them
And I agree with the results of the t-shirt contest. I like Pixelkitties' "Your Face" shirt, but that's pretty much it. The first place one is lame (RD's eye looks odd) and the Shadowbolts one is identical to the previous winner. You had some great designs, especially the NMM/Discord one, that I was rooting for.
My brother and I are going to find out about the rights and everything
I know several websites (such as WeLoveFine, Zazzle and more) sell MLP merchandise. For the most part, I don't think Hasbro minds, mostly because their MLP merch is aimed at a much younger demographic than the bronies and most of these other websites are targeting the older fanbase so it doesn't really collide with Hasbro's sales
But as I said, we're going to double check, find out what we can and can't do. We'll make sure we can do this legally before we start the business
